Discover the trails of La Palma
Nacientes Marcos y Cordero
Located in the northern region of the island of La Palma, the trail runs parallel to the canal that collects water from the springs and passes through the great caldera of Marcos and Cordero. It crosses these ravines to then converge in the Barranco del Agua. Its landscape, full of Canary Island pines and native vegetation, also allows enjoying a series of large vertical walls typical of the northern island that announce the Caldera de Taburiente National Park.
Cubo de la Galga
This is a low-difficulty circular trail that is about 11 kilometers long and takes approximately four hours. This walk allows you to admire the island's laurel forest and runs through a cool, shaded area, making it suitable for the whole family.
Caldera de Taburiente
The spectacular nature of this eight-kilometer diameter and up to one and a half kilometer deep crevice, covered with dense Canary Island pine forests and crossed by deep ravines, cannot be appreciated well in photos; it must be seen in person. The Caldera de Taburiente National Park, located in the center of the island of La Palma, is the main tourist attraction of the so-called "Beautiful Island," a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve.
Punta de Los Roques
It is a mountain shelter located on the ridge of the Caldera de Taburiente National Park. It is prepared for a maximum of 20 people, free entry, without any special equipment except the necessary to spend the night. It is located at 2,040 meters above sea level.
El Time - Puerto de Tazacorte
A short walk that allows descending from the El Time viewpoint, which offers panoramic views, to Puerto de Tazacorte itself, where you can not only enjoy a good swim but also taste delicious fresh fish.
Las Toscas - Gallego
A long hiking route that crosses one of the most traditional and authentic landscapes of the island: well-preserved century-old paths, an intact rural landscape, and the deep Gallegos ravine.
Valencia - Pico Bejenado
A trail that allows you to ascend to the peak of Bejenado, from which you can see beautiful panoramic views over the Caldera de Taburiente National Park and the beginning of the Route of the Volcanoes, as well as over the Valle de Aridane.
La Zarza - Cruz del Gallo
A short walk that goes through one of the most beautiful laurel forests on the island, allowing you to also admire the Sistine Chapel of nature.
